Titans owner wants Vince Young to start

Not really a surprise. Bud is paying Vince alot of money and was the one who made the final call to draft him. Truth is, Fisher has never wanted Vince and only played him his rookie year after Collins got injured after starting 0-3. Fisher also did not hesitate to pull Vince after 1 half of bad football in 08, but wont pull Collins after 6 weeks of sucking. The double standard has been noticed by the entire sportsworld.

You're joking right? Vince hasn't even been mentally stable. Last year he was talking about killing himself. How can you have someone in the game playing with that going on in someone's head. Jeff was looking out for him and trying to get him help. If you are trying to pull the race card remember how much Jeff loved Steve McNair. I would love for you to pull up a old article where it says Jeff didn't want Vince.

I really hate when owners involve themselves in coaching decisions.

Funny thing though, I actually kind of agree with Adams here. The Titans are going nowhere so given that they'll need to make a decision on Young at some point, why not try him?

The answer, most likely, is the same answer as the one regarding Fox and Delhomme. A coach in "save my job" mode isn't interested in the future. He wants the best established player, and at this juncture that's still Collins.

Yeah it's actually a shame you don't get Jeff Fisher announcing he was going to play Young to see where he's at as this season is a loss.

Or Fox going with Moore as Jake has serious problems.

Would reflect better on the HC IMHO.

There was an interesting revelation in the radio hissy fit recently thrown by the wife of Floyd Reese.

She stated that on two previous occasions, Adams was set to fire Jeff Fisher. It was Floyd who saved Fisher's job both times, a kindness Fisher repaid by forcing Reese out in a power struggle.

If Adams goes down that path again, will anyone save Fisher this time?

Fisher is the only retread I could conceivably be talked into supporting as a Fox replacement.

But in the end, I'd probably still say no.

I've never been a fan of Fisher.

He has been at it a long time he looks burned out, if he were to replace Fox I hope its after a couple years off and some time spent on the beach.
