Thinking Cam would be intimidated is kinda silly.  Grier might become nice player, but he is essentially a fourth round pick.  He has lots to prove, before Cam, should give him second thought

Heard on ESPN radio today that they were discussing and feeling bad about how Daniel Jones’ family feels that everyone thinks their son is bad. Meanwhile, to this day, they continually trash Newton and his character and never once act concerned how his family feels. They will barely discuss him being a good leader about Grier, but let us know how bad his character is.

Was a class move by Cam.  Although the idea that Grier is competition to Cam is ludicrous. Cam's physical abilities are, what,  95% percentile of NFL athletes, if Cam is healthy, Grier is only getting a few snaps during blowouts.

Exactly. This dude was drafted to be a backup or traded in a couple years (if he can even play at the next level). He isn’t the “future”.

If only Cam's fans could bring themselves to think like this.

You aren't wrong. But I would think we should be able to convey this sort of sentiment without giving fuel to the percentage of our fanbase that rant about "Cam fans" and have held a decade long grudge against Cam. The people that rail against him for his attire, and showing emotion in the game.

The amount of actual Panthers fans that hope Grier doesn't do well are in the single digits. We still have had folks showing up to gloat if Cam has a bad game for years now. If people show up to behave that way toward Grier or whoever after Cam, they should be called out the same too.

Agreed.

Also, why is it a sin to be a "Cam fan" to some people on here? In sports, every fan gravitates to a specific player that they like on a team, that doesn't mean that they don't care about the team as a whole. That's just the way fandom is in my opinion. Take the Patriots for example. No one is knocking that fan base for being Tom Brady fans.
