Butler has done squat. He has one last chance to prove that was mostly due to being out of position moving to a 0 instead of a 3 probably. 

If he all of a sudden balls out then maybe he gets more here or somewhere else. Otherwise he’s just a backup on another team for league minimum.

I would probably have picked Xavien Howard, Michael Thomas, Deion Jones, Cody Whitehair, Kevin Byard or Yannick Ngakoue over Butler. Wish that Gettleman was as smart as me. #disappoint

People are really still belly aching about not picking Hunter Henry? WHY? Have you noticed that Michael Thomas and Deion Jones are tearing it up in our own division becoming among the elite at their respective divisions? If we could re-do that draft today, one of those two guys would absolutely be our pick, not Hunter Henry.

It may be because they're going by what we knew at the time not right now. HH would've been a way better pick than Butler at the time and it was obvious as hell.

I haven't seen anyone "belly aching" over Henry, just stating the obvious. 

The majority of teams would pick Thomas if they had a redo. Ironically, Thomas neither nor Jones were even on the radar, but we all know who was squarely on the screen.

Thank goodness that Vernon Butler was not extended. He didn't come close to earning it.

How sad.  Gentleman will for ever be linked with his horrible decision to yank that Franchise rage from Norman.  Look at what it really cost us.  We blew an entire draft over not wanting to pay a guy 15 mil that we had in the budget.   SMH.
