And how the hell do you know Moore sucks? You're opinion is baseless. Last time he started, he went 2-1 and wouldve been 3-0 if not for the refs in the Dallas game. It's no secret that Fox likes vet QBs over young ones.

Most posters saying Moore sucks point only to the fact that if he were good, Fox would have put him in by now. They give no merit to his three starts in 2007, in which he beat two playoff teams (yes, one of which was a Tampa Bay team resting its starters) and almost beat Dallas.

I wonder if two years ago they were saying, "You know, if Williams were really better than Foster, he'd be in by now. Fox knows best." This, even though it was obvious Williams was a better back (no matter how poor he was in pass protection).

lol im not putting my hopes and dreams on Jake Delhomme, because lets face it, he sucks and our season is over..But putting your hopes on Matt Moore, another undrafted guy who couldnt even beat out Josh McCown on the depth chart is RETARTED. Look around, its not pretty with Jake, and it's not gonna get any better with Matt. I have more faith in Feeley at this point. Keep basing your opinion on Moore from what he did 2 years ago. He hasent even looked good in a preseason game against 4th stringers but you expect him to go out against first team NFL defenses. Damn im glad your not the coach.

And im glad that almost wins ( blaming refs against Dallas ) count as a plus for you...I guess jake did "almost" win the Super Bowl..

I hope if Moore plays that he becomes the next Tom Brady, i really do. Thats because i love my team. But if he doesnt, which is almost 98% probable, you will feel like an idiot and just say that it's Fox's fault, or Davidsons anyway...

You're dumb. First of all I said let him start so we can see what he can do in order to figure out what to do about the future. How the f**k do you get that Im putting all my hopes and dreams on him? If you had a brain, you'd know the reason why McCown was our backup last season was because Moore broke his damn leg. And as far as your preseason comment, also remember he had a 3rd string o-line and 3rd string receivers and RBs as well. When he has had time with the first string, he has proven that he can play well. If you even watched that Dallas game in 2007, you would know how badly the refs screwed us in that game. But hey, continue talking out of your ass.

Oh i watched the Dallas game....and the Seahawks game and the Buccs game. Do you realize how stupid it is too bring up that he's 2-1. Its like talking about Shawn Hill's record as a starter to say he's a good QB in SF. That was always there arguement. The Dallas game we lost, so get over it. The Buccs game cannot be counted as a measurement of success when Luke McCown played better than him. The Buccs rested there ENTIRE team and we still barely won, plus Deangelo had a beast game.

The Seahawks game WE DIDNT EVEN score a TD until the final 2 minutes of the game! We couldnt even score a point going into halftime. We got lucky, it happens, you saw that last weekend with Philly-Oakland.

The ref's screwed us in the Dallas game is the best excuse ever. So our defense didnt get run over by Marian Barber? We didnt let Romo throw all over us? And i just looked at the stats, 2/11 on 3rd downs in clearly gonna get it done in the NFL...We got a nice shot to Smith on 4th down late to make it look closer than the game actually was..Again, not impressed..

It's obvious some of you "hate" Jake. I dont like the way he has played this season any more than most of you. Its no secret, he's one of the worst QB's in the league right now. But he also has been our QB for now his 7th season, how many teams can say the same? His time is done here, its obvious. Let this be his last start against the team who started this downward spiral. If any one of you were the QB of this team and playing like him you would want the same oppurtunity. I also doubt you would bench yourself for poor play, you would keep coming out and trying to get better. His window has all but closed, so lets enjoy what jake has done and let him go down with a fight against the Cardinals...REMEMBER ARIZONA is all about Jake...

is that how it is? Delhomme is entitled to start because he's "earned" it?

no. For all he's done in the past he's entitled to a degree of honor. He's not entitled to go out there and play awful because of what he did a few years ago. And that goes for every single player in the NFL, it isn't exclusive to Delhomme. He doesn't just get the right to start no matter how pitiful his performance is.

Alittle off topic but Raging Bull, i wasent aware your a Yankee fan? Great run...I went to ALDS game 1, ALCS game 1, and Game 6 two days ago. I love my Yanks...Atleast one of my favorite teams gives me something to root for this year lol. Gonna be a tough world series, but we can get it done...

we're very capable of beating the Phillies. Pettitte was able to keep the score low against us, which was important because now CC will be ready for game one.

let's make some history in this new stadium

They are pitching Pedro at Yankee Stadium in Game 2, cant get any better than that...WHO YOUR DADDY!!!

CC is a beast, he's been doing this since the All-Star break. I was kinda pining for CC too pitch Game 6, but Andy got it done. Burnett worries me the most, just alittle more than our bullpen who have been shaky this series. Robertson, Joba and Mo are all i can stomach..Dont know what happened to Hughes..

No it's not stupid to bring up he's 2-1. That's his record. Regardless that the Bucs rested their starters, Moore was acquired during the regular season, came in, and out performed the vets that Fox trusted more. The refs held Moore back in the Dallas game from winning his third straight game in which he also performed well in.

When was the last time Feeley played? Oh thats right 2007. Why wasn't he acquired by another team before now? Because he sucks! He had 5 TDs and 8 INTs in 2007. If anything, he's another Delhomme! The only reason we aquired him is because when McCown went down, Fox wanted another vet on the team. That's it. Moore is still listed as the backup QB on the depth chart. Not Feeley.

Jake is done. It's time to see what Moore can do when he practices with the first string all week and plays against 1st string defense. We need to see if he's not just taking up space. If he is terrible, then we know he isn't the future and we let him go after the season. But you will never know until you give him a shot.

Moore only played because Vinny got hurt...you should know that.. I'm sure you will see Moore play at some point this season, than we can debate his productivity and worth to this franchise. We have some good teams coming up so well see how he fares against legit competition. But this is Jakes game, whether you like him or not...

it is funny how people all say moore sucks but you never hear them say why except he didnt beat out mcown.... the year he broke his leg, or he didnt pay like peyton manning in his first starts EVER as a undrafted rookie. people forget that point the most and the main reason we have some optimism, he was a rookie in 2007. i repeat a rookie. how many first round rookies do worse than him in games? a lot. what is funny is if he was a first round draft people the same people saying he sucks would be trying to defend him saying he is a rookie.

Look at those 3 games he played. What do you notice? for a rookie low turnovers! he got sacked 5 times agianst dallas , 5 times!! he still only had one turnover. if jake got hit that many times he would have 6 to.

Are you really bringing up our poor defense two years ago in a discussion of whether Moore should start now?
