i just find the hand wringing and conjectures over Grier to be laughable 

after what we saw out of Anderson previously and those kids this past year, with a QB1 coming off shoulder surgery and a contract year coming,  the Panthers would have been beyond stupid and third players are cheap.

But these fans that question Cam Newton at every turn will simply never like him. We also know by now specifically why some feel that way.

It will definitely be interesting to see how Grier plays in preseason. You know how this place looks after one wayward pass. He will immediately be either anointed or shunned. That's the huddle.

It took like two completions for both scrubs we had last season filling in for Cam for people to start posting such nonsense. Then reality set in when they couldn't take a couple NFL hits.

Not that I have anything against Will Grier, but I'm really looking forward to the first time he overthrows a receiver.

Eh well, last years number 1 overall pick went 3/7 for 9 yards in last years senior bowl. can't say that hurt him much.

He was very good in the workouts at the Senior Bowl. The actual game really does not matter. Even if it did, he left after two series to be with his ill mother.

Good point, I don't usually watch the senior bowl so I don't know how historically the top qb's do at it.
