That's not even mentioning players like Olsen, or Davis whom posters like frash have gone out of his way to bash repeatedly over the years.

Honestly I lose respect for posters that continually pie his drivel, because he is anything but pro-player. If anything he has proven to be more like Texans owner Bob McNair who all but considered players "inmates" who should just be happy and shut up.

you are so phony woke and it’s pathetic. stop pretending to be so ideologically pure when you enthusiastically support a sport where guys deal with a lifetime of injuries after they walk off the field.

Phony woke huh? Sounds like a remark the average mouth breathing NFL fan would make about a player kneeling.

You've talked endless poo about Panthers players past and present. You even belittled Mike Minter of all people. Really?

You use Ken Lucas as nothing more than a punchline excuse to shriek Steve Smith's name.

You howled for months about how Olsen and Davis conspired to get DG fired.

What gets you riled up the most about me is that I remind you of the fact that despite all your rantings about men like Jerry Richardson, you'll still carry water for his "know your place" approach to overly outspoken players.

Maybe you should just stick to putting people on ignore when you can't win an argument.

Jonathan stewart doesn’t have any known character flaws. He is a mature adult. Beason is the only one I can think of that doesn’t either and Gettleman did him a favor by trading instead of cutting.

Gettleman accused Beason of faking his injury.

yea so bc i rip players i think all players are inmates while you go on record and call other players wastes of money and useless... but that doesn’t make you a player hater. and you picked two rly poor examples at that lol. i haven’t had a lot of words to say about olsen and as far as davis goes... you’re way off the mark bc if there is one player i would choose to build a statue for, it would be davis. not only that but you completely ignore my stances on the players’ anthem protests and what i thought of JR disgustingly condescending to them during the lockout.

on top of that, one of the main reasons i’ve been losing passion for this game in the last few years has nothing to do with how the panthers are being run. it’s bc of the growing awareness of playing football being directly related to CTE, and the chronic pain, numbness and disabilities a lot of former players are dealing with. and i’m getting impatient with the league on how slow they are at working on solutions for protecting players in the future.

keep LARPing as a social justice activist dude. you’re a fuging football fan who thinks josh norman ripping gettleman on twitter is a #bigmood and everybody here knows it. you don’t know poo about activism. you just come on a virtual message board that 300 ppl look at and wear it like it’s the cheap jacket you just bought at H&M for consciousness points. you act like you’re so passionate about being an agent of change but you’ve never been within 50 miles of a real protest or an organized march. you’re not an ally.

also you’re so obliviously fanboying for classifying smith as just an “outspoken player” like he’s on the same plane as colin k or eric reid. so i guess threatening a grown man in public in front of his family is just being outspoken? you can’t get much lower than that when it comes to setting a poor example.

there’s a reason i respect guys like kaepernick and reid infinitely more than smith. they stood up for a cause for the suffering of countless other people when they could’ve stayed silent and not lost millions of dollars and be persecuted by the owners. steve smith stands up for one person and it’s the only person he gives a poo about and it’s 89 bottom line.

I chuckled at the bit about supporting CK and Reid in between the hyperventilating about "social justice activism".

He said you are LARPing which is essentially calling you a fake SJW. Which Colin K and Reid are obviously not. Which was his point.

Key quotes:

Quote

"The way that the trade went down between the Giants and the Panthers when I moved on from the Carolina Panthers, it was done in a way that wasn't classy," Beason told CBS Sports. "I didn't want to be the disgruntled player who's saying this, saying that because he was traded. But at the end of the day, you're a first-round pick, you played extremely well for an organization, you're one of the key guys on the team, a new GM comes in and doesn't even give you a handshake on your way out the door.

Quote

"Having not known me coming in, I was coming off of microfracture surgery, and I had to sit down with this guy and explain what was going on...He says verbatim 'Come on Jon, you know nothing's wrong with your knee'. I didn't like that he was challenging my character. At that point, we didn't have a great relationship."

Found the interview:

Starts talking about injury a little after the 2 minute mark.
