This is honestly the most complete draft I've ever seen from Hurney. There was definitely a mission here. I think he accomplished it. Only time will tell if these players pan out. It looks like they will.

On paper this is one of my favorite Hurney drafts in a while. Now its just a meter of how quickly can these young guys pick up on the playbook and either crack the rotation or become full time starters.

Hurney pumped up the trenches for us, which is exactly what we needed. Let’s be honest, if we sign a vet FS before the season starts we will have one of the most complete rosters we have had in a while. Protection and depth for Cam, young explosive weapons, potential at the backup QB spot, young and experienced pass rushers, a solid SS in Reid, Bradberry and Jackson holding down the CB spot with Cockrell healthy to play the slot, and of course the best linebacker in the league to help Shaq in the middle. There really isn’t much weakness (maybe CB depth) if we address the FS spot, which I think we will.
