I saw the name and made the connection and the thought popped in my head, "hurney won't be able to help himself." dude was always going after people with connections to famous people. drafted smokey robinson's nephew to play OL or something dumb like that.

Until they start running 40’s in pads those numbers don’t mean poo. Additionally, unless you can legitimately run a 4.3 and have the ability to run away from everyone in the league like Hill (even though he’s a fug up) then those numbers don’t mean much.

Could be wrong but I don’t think Holyfield or any other back will find himself running 40 yards down the field unimpeded too often.

Anywho, one thing this dude can do is pass protect so he already has a leg up on Scarlett in that department.

Corrion Ballard Safety to Carolina.

Sounds like our kind of safety. Can't cover poo and probably can't run.

Pos:
Tough run-defending safety best in a straight line. Quick to read and diagnose, keeps the action in front of him and tackles well in the open field. Stout at the point, drives his shoulders through ball carriers and plays aggressive football.

Neg:
Indecisive when the ball is in the air, lacks lateral speed and trails in coverage. Limited as a playmaker. Ineffective over the slot receiver. Marginal next-level speed.

Analysis:
Ballard is a hard-hitting, strong safety prospect who is best against the run and playing downhill. He comes with a special-teams mentality, which is likely his only chance at the next level.

I like how it says "pos" instead of pros.
