How do you think we'll fare against the Cardinals?

Arizona has the #1 run defense. We have the #1 pass defense.

Arizona is a high flying passing team

We're a hard power running team.

Sad to say though, if we get away from running the ball, this game is over. The QB change can only affect the costly turnovers. Running the ball is our bread and butter, and while I'd like to say that it's possible we could win this, i still think Cards are favored.

With the exception of (maybe) the Eagles - we haven't faced an offense in the same league as Arizona. I think they will score early and we will play from behind most of the game. That usually means disaster for us because we aren't built for that. This butt whipping will be a good tune up for the one the Saints will put on us next week.

I have to admit that it's nice to see the Cardinals get some respect. As a Cardinals fan, there are a few things that worry me about this game. Our shut down corner, DRC, sprained his ankle in the Giant's game and Rolle hurt his foot. If they are unable to play, this will weaken our secondary significantly. This could lead to Cardinals killer Steve Smith to have a monster day.

As far as our run defense, the emergence of Alan Branch and Calais Campbell (6'8" with two blocked field goals this year) has provided allot depth on our defensive line, providing a strong rotation that has kept our line fresh in the forth quarter. J. Bridges whom you cut, has been doing a nice job rotating into our offensive line with his ability to play multiple postions. Beanie Wells is starting to show some flashes of providing the Cardinals with a break away threat, but both he and Hightower have fumbled the ball in key situations this year. As far as Fitz, teams have been double teaming him all year and Warner has not been looking his way as much which has been frustrating to the fans. Boldin is hobbled and could hardly run in the second half of the Giants game. Breaston is healthy again giving us a big boost. He can easily be a number two reciever on most teams.

The Cardinals are playing with allot of confidence after wins in Seattle and the Giants. The key has been fast starts and coach Whiz is starting to instill a Steeler mentality into both the offense and defense. The first drive of the Seattle game consumed over 10 minutes which was unheard of in the past. We are running more and throwing more screens and check downs instead of throwing the ball deep. When we were 1-2 this frustrated the fans, but it's amazing what three straight victories can do. Whiz is a master of trick plays. Rackers may be the best onsides kicker in the league.

Heres to a good game that is injury free. I still can't figure out how we seem to play each other every season. From what I saw of a projected schedule, we may be playing you again next year.

Man, I hate to say this, but I believe we are walking into a butt-whooping of epic proportions.

Anyone watched the Cards play? I believe they may be stronger this year than they were last. The running game is better, the defense is hitting stride, and the passing game is Desert Storm II.

We'll be lucky to keep them under 36 points. And we'll be lucky with 14.

I don't believe that we will win this game or even keep it close. Arizona's defense has definitely improved and their passing offense is as good as it was last year; however, they are 32nd in the league in rushing offense.

Also last in attempts. Beanie Wells is being spoon fed along but is getting more and more reps each week. He is explosive and has a great stiff arm. Hightower is a solid goal line runner, and is great catching passes out of the backfield. He is better when getting the ball with some room to run. I expect us to be more balanced as the season goes on, as Coach Whiz, who is now calling our offense loves to control the clock and keep his defense fresh, rather then the gunslinger mentality Haley had last year. It's still a work in progress however.

As a Card fan since 1988 it is still really hard for me to have fans from teams think of our team that way. Its kind of cool.

The defense has played well as of late. They are due for a bad game in which, usually, the offense could carry us to at least keep the game close.

I don't really think we will be competitive. I expect Arizona keeps a 2 td lead for most the game and regardless of who starts, we turn the ball over at least 3 times
