Please let me know. Literally his worst draft. He seems like a drug addict with trades and reaches. This is the draft that defines him and basically I hope it all goes to hell so he can get fired. Besides work career this draft gets a D.

It sounds like your mind was made up before the draft even started. Go root for another team maybe? I hear the Browns are taking on new fans.

I'm not super excited about the draft overall, but like the other 31 teams, we'll just have to wait and see how the picks pan out.

If we don't go to the playoffs this year, I think Tepper pushes the reset button.

You don't think he would give his coach and GM time knowing a base defense change takes time to pull off? This has been in the cards for a while. I mentioned this after the meeting with Tepper and staff. Said he would give them time to reset the defense to a 3-4 base and that takes at least two years to be half way successful.

He shouldn't. Ron is going to into his 9th season here. How much time does a coach need? Marty Hurney has already been fired for incompetence once by this organization and no one else would give him a job as a locker room janitor.

And this draft proves of his janitor status. Couple that with last seasons acquisitions through free agency and the gaulden fiasco, how tf he have a job?

Brian Burns is a top level 3-4 olb which the panthers are running more of Greg little while not the tackle I would have picked is at a position where we have no idea the long term stability of Will Greir is a perfect back up for when cam gets inevitably injured

    • i think i go in the opposite direction of most. my ideal retirement is living in some old downtown area in a flat above some shop or something.  life out in the country was just something i got real tired of. My kids actually miss some of living out there, which i understand. that was where they grew up for the most part. 40 acres with a 2.5 acre pond. it was beautiful, but also way too much (and too expensive) for me to keep up with.
    • FLASHBACK: I remember back when ESPN was just starting--he was their anchor.  They used to show stuff like Rodeo and field hockey--I remember laughing when he went to a commercial mocking a cycling competition in Utah (or something similar--I made that up) and I laughed.  I told my dad, "We may have us a new anchor when we get back from commercial."  When they came back from commercial, Berman was looking very serious and he said, "Any comments by me do not reflect the views of ESPN....The men and women who cycle are dedicated athletes and we are honored to shine light on their sport." (Paraphrasing).  Dad laughed hysterically. My first memory of him--and that was like 1980.
    • Might not have a team without them. Although that probably applies to the Panthers, too.
