Christian Miller can play multiple positions. Stand up rusher, drop into coverage, 5-tech, and a speedy 3-tech.

As much as Marty crushed FA considering our cap stranglehold, Hurney is being Hurney in this draft.  Versions I.0 or 2.0, Hurney always gives me a headache on draft days.

Ya know what though? He got edge rushers, and only gave up one Draft pick in the process. I'm not going to disparage him for that. He's done much, much, worse.

He has 35.5” arms at 6’3”.  That’s crazy.  That length you can’t teach.

At this point, is there even a safety available who we would expect to be any more than competition with Searcy and Gaulden? I doubt there is anyone who is clearly more talented at this point (which is saying a lot). I'd be fine with Thompson in the fifth but I don't think you trade up for him. At this point in the draft you're going bpa/highest ceiling, not filling roster holes.

The Steelers probably just drank the best RB in the draft in the 4th round.

We didn't take two guys undersized for our base 4-3 as a mistake.  This is clearly about the future.  Can Miller be a situational 5-tech or 3-tech?  Yes, but the key word is situational.  His home, as well as Burns, is going to be 3-4 OLB.
