Will Grier: A+ at 100 per USA Today

Anyone using Will Grier as justification for getting rid of Cam(now or in the future) basically wants to see the franchise be a dumpster fire.

At 100, don't have issue with it.  Maybe he develops and we need him great, or we trade him.   He sucks wouldn't be the first.

I think Grier is better than some of the QB's taken before him and I think he's highly underrated. He definitely needs some tutelage but I think he may be our QB1 one day. That being said, I think a lot more people would have been okay with the pick if we had filled other needs first. Had we not traded up for Little, instead traded to get another pick in the 2nd to take a FS, and then taken Grier in the 3rd people would likely be less upset.

Nice discussion in this thread.  Thanks OP and all.

I struggled with the pick at first given all our other needs, but I've come around to supporting it based on value, the insurance it can give, and the idea that if in an ideal scenario where Cam regains MVP form / health and slays the league for the next 2 years you can develop Grier as a trade resource.

There's pretty little downside to doing this, and I imagine Tepper's fingerprints are all over this, which I'm ok with.
