Does taking Little ruin our shot at drafting a starting FS this year?

We don’t need another CB early. Safety yeah we could have drafted one but pass rush and Cams protection were a bigger concern. Don’t forget we took Gaulden last year.

Even if we take a later than hoped for safety tomorrow they have a chance of starting this year. Searcy is going to get cucused, the way he plays and the history he has its probable. Who knows if Gauldin will be fighting for the nickle spot, which is wide open and could be a whole other and similar conversation. Even with Ron's unwillingness to play rookies over any warm body, maybe after watching Colin try again to prove he is a starting safety, we could see a rookie Safety start at some point in this year. So I guess what I'm saying is that it's possible.

^ This.  In most of my mocks that's where I had the Panthers taking a FS was the 3rd round.  Between moving up for Little (didn't care for that either) and a backup QB on day 2...yeah, FS is a straight up pipe dream now (starting quality).  Watch Hurney freaking toy with our emotions and take a FS in the 6th round!
