You're Mama sounds awesome.

My Mama thought getting hurt is what boys do, lol.

She was.

But as to me, the first time one of my friends invited me to a draft party, I said the day I started watching the NFL draft was the day I'd go into rehab for football addiction. But I went anyway.

Have watched pretty much every moment of every draft since.

He has enough athleticism and balance to work at the 2nd level where he delivers key blocks. His skills as a run blocker opens the door for a move inside to guard if needed

.....

It’s important to note that Little would project as a very strong guard prospect if evaluators feel he can’t handle the left tackle spot.

That is only said because of his size.

His TEMPERAMENT is another story.

Holy fug, you think Little can play OG?

lololololol

He was one of the LEAST aggressive OTs in the SEC, dude.  You GOTTA be a mauler to play inside with success.  A "mauler" Little is NOT.

"Little’s strength is as a run blocker where he generates a good push off the line. He routinely fires off the ball and looks to engage the defender. His long arms help him gain inside hands while his upper body strength allow him to press.

The space he creates with his arm length allows Little to gain movement. It also helps him seal the defender from the play. His effectiveness as a run blocker is also aided by his use of angles and understanding of the playbook.

He has enough athleticism and balance to work at the 2nd level where he delivers key blocks. His skills as a run blocker opens the door for a move inside to guard if needed."

I like the Little "pick"

Just wish we didnt give up 77.

There is going to be a solid Saftey falling to around there.

Now we have to hope Gaulding or Collin Jones improves

Right , the comp pick would’ve made it easier to like but I’m going to cross my fingers a safety falls to our 3rd...or who knows if we’re just cherry picking the player at our biggest need at the top of the panther’s Board each time then might as well say fug it and package the 5th or something with the comp pick to move up and nab a safety.

Giving up #77 practically ensures that Da'Norris Searcy will be our starting FS... for as long as he lasts, then who kknows what. All for a guy who I fear may get Cam killed.

Sigh...

What do people want the Panthers to do?  If Williams has a great season and leaves next year, would you not blame Hurney for not having a back-up plan in place?

It's damn near impossible to fill every need and you gotta take risks to improve your roster.  And who knows if we would have gotten a starting safety at 77 anyway?

As long as there's not a huge gap, I'd take a guy with a little less talent and a better attitude over a guy with a little more talent and a crappy attitude.

In this case, I think we had choices who were superior in both areas.

This. Williams can leave in free agency or get injured again, Little can play T or G.

You can question the trade up, but this roster absolutely needed a tackle. Let's remember why we are in this position in the first place. That is because of a certain 50 million dollar contract we had to take on the chin.

Sounds like a talented player who can be coached up. At least let the dude suit up and prove himself before you start trashing the pick.

I’m not mad at the pick at all. Taylor wasn’t going to happen and this was next best potentially better. Plus the price to trade up wasn’t crippling and it want by any means a reach.

Just want to remind hurdlers LT is probably the hardest position to play outside of QB and while most will judge him after next year, give this guy 2-3 years before putting a label on him. I know that’s something the huddle struggles with.

I had no idea that we had so many offensive line experts in the fan base.  The scouts should have logged on and saved all of that film study and private workout hassle.  Just support him and hope he works out.  He has the tools.
