It's probably Greg Olsen's last season. You want to tell him we're just going to waste it?

A year off the rookie contracts of guys like McCaffrey and Moore? Think they'll sign a year extension to make up for it?

How about the guys in contract years? Wanna let them know you're just going to waste this season and hope they understand and re-sign with us for less money?

No.

You never ever give up on a season because one guy is hurt, even if it's your starting quarterback.

And seriously, you guys think that I head coach who wasn't even willing to tank a final meaningless game for seven draft spots is gonna let go of a whole season? Ron and Marty don't have that kind of job security.

There is probably no silly or notion on this board then the idea that the team could willingly tank a season.

Would have preferred most anyone else that's already been picked, but at this point, are there any other safeties even worth considering? Getting down to slim pickings in the 4th. Not sure he's much of an upgrade over Gaulden but the potential is there at least.

Pretty sure giving up is what the Panthers did very well last season...

And no, what I was saying is that having Grier, Allen, Heinecke, or anyone else will make little to no difference if Cam went down, because none of those guys are going to win us games

Back up QB has been a huge area of need since DA's last season when we all knew he was done.

We drafted a 3rd round safety last year. Sorry he wasn't a guy you liked. The free agent market for safetiesstill has some pretty good players who will come cheap and potentially beat out any 3rd round safety we would have taken this year.

Golly, I wonder if the Panther's pretty much telling the whole world exactly what they wanted contributed to the laugh-track of the rest of the NFL when Rivera/Hurney made a draft pick or trade?

Forgot about Hooker. Probably take him over Thompson. Between those three and Wrenn, gotta figure at least one will be there at our pick.

The roof had a leak but the rough shingles got replaced and will be good to go, this rough was top of the line, when in tact it’s what you’d call an MVP roof. I see what you are saying, but we could get a qb tomrw to be a quality backup.
