I'm not mad bc it will benefit us, but I just dont understand Washington.  It's like they just want to take a QB just to take one.  They still dont know if Alex Smith is coming back, picked up Keenum who can be really good in the right system (and I think he fits in really well in Gruden's offense), and they still want to draft a QB?  And not a specific one, ANY QB they can get lol...  sounds like a good plan.

Nah, I think they're big on Haskins due to his local ties. He's likely the only QB they'd take at that spot - other than Murray, but he won't be there.

Honestly, nothing about it makes sense. Why would you hire a gimmicky sub-.500 all offense failed college head coach if you're not going to give him the QB he wants? The experiment is almost certainly destined for spectacular failure, but if you don't draft Kyler Murray you never even gave it a chance.

This is based on an assumption that the coach doesn’t like Rosen.  He might like him enough to be okay going forward with him, and if that’s the case then that trade makes a lot of sense.  Cards get draft capital + a player they would probably take at #1 instead of Murray anyway.

Nah, they're defintely trying to replicate what Kingsbury did with Mahomes. Rosen can't do that. Maybe Murray can.

Pretty safe bet based on his QB drafting history.

I am surprised that he is not working with Arizona to trade for Rosen to groom behind Flacco for a year.  That would be an ideal situation.

FLASHBACK:  Rosen on being selected #10 overall in 2018:  "There were nine mistakes ahead of me."

I said then that his cockiness reminded me of Osweiler.
