Plenty of backup QBs are making more than him. Why not let them compete and develop both if they are only getting offers of 3rd rounders right now. Showcase him in the preseason, or just keep him for his whole rookie deal. The top 10 pick they spent on him is already sunk, whether he’s traded or stays a backup so now picking a QB first shouldn’t mean they have to get rid of him. If they get a mid 2nd rounder or better I’d take it, but less than that and why bother trading him?
