You can't clear the puck past both blue lines into the area behind the goalie without it touching another player unless on power plays

I'm sure you know this, but for anyone who may not know much about hockey - icing is allowed when the other team is on the power play, and you're on the penalty kill. I thought the above could be a little confusing.

It wasn't an unreasonable prediction. The Caps won in their building 6-0 in Game 5.

Game 7 starting out looking the same as game five too. Early 2-0 lead that could've easily been 4-0 before the second period started. Canes hung in and kept pushing till Washington's legs gave out and got a win.

Caps went up 2-0 in every home game that series. Glad we won but need to be much better on the road against the Isles.

Yea age isn't going to suddenly smash the isles in the face like it did the Caps. Going have to get a game in NY to have a chance of winning the series.

Yeah, it's awesome that the Canes pulled it out. I still can't believe they got it done. I'll admit I had the Caps in 4. I thought maybe the Canes could squeak one out at home, but the Caps just looked better than the Canes all season until Game 3. They had two games against each other in the last 2 weeks of the season, when we were pushing for a playoff spot. First the Caps destroyed us in DC, then edged us in Raleigh. It's incredible what the Canes did.
