So glad we showed the Saints a lesson and won a meaningless game.

We haven't had a pure LT since Gross. It's time

Yeah because saints wanted to win so bad and played their team like it was an exhibition. But whatever makes u feel better!

I feel like this is a non story.

Newsflash: Every team is open to trading up for almost every position. The only question is what will be the cost.

Pretty much.

There's still time for somebody to post a story about how we're open to trading down before Thursday.

Yeh, panthers being open about trading down, open to getting more value with the draft being so deep,... bla bla bla.

actually I would hope that’s more true than trading up, hope that’s a smokescreen so other teams will take certain picks and the ones that Hurney wants drop to us or give us the drop back opportunity.

There will be a top 4 OT there at 16--or there will be a top edge guy.

It sure sounds as if Daryl Williams is going to be our LG next year--reading the leaves, but I think they like Moton at RT and will look for a LT--the only place to find a starting LT is in the first round----

Just a guess, but if this is all true, it is shaking out that way on paper.

We already invested (albeit a little) on the online with Paradis and Williams. Who have we added for DE? This is the perfect draft to add our pass rushers. If not now then when? As for the people screaming for a LT, don’t complain when opposing QBs are sitting in the pocket for hours picking apart our defense.

Proponent of the old saying "If it ain't broke, don't fix it". Moton was an Excellent RT, no reason to shake things up and move him to the left side and let the uncertain knee of Daryl Williams take over that RT position. Why not invest in a first round, anchor-worthy LT in the draft, and figure out what to do with Williams on the interior. If the opportunity presents itself to trade up or trade back and be able to do so, I'm all in!

I wouldn't complain about an LT. But I do agree with you about DE. It's like in the offseason people here forget we play in a division where we play Drew Brees and Matt Ryan two games each every year. It's easy to get enamored with luxury picks in April. But we have had trouble getting to QB's, even marginally talented ones, for at least the past 2 seasons. That has to change.

Doesn't really make sense, does it?  Either Williams, Taylor, Ford, Dillard or Greg Little WILL be there at #16. There is no need to trade up.

But teams don't think like that.

People need to quit thinking in terms of rank.  For example:  if OT #1 is gone, draft OT #2, if OT #3 is gone draft OT #4.

Teams think in terms of grades and tiers.  Their board might look somethin like:

Taylor/Dillard

Williams

Gap

Gap

Ford/Little

Yes Yes Yes, trading down more intelligent.
