I am against trading up, but I must admit that it would be very amusing to see the "draft a QB early" crowd here absolutely lose their minds if we traded up for an offensive tackle.

In his afternoon post, @AlbertBreer says the teams he's heard most open to trading up are the #Panthers (16) and #Texans (23). "In all likelihood, it’d be a move to get one of the top three tackles." Keep in mind, HOU has two 2nds, and CAR has two 3rds

There is no actual validity here just because someone says they heard this was going to happen.

How about if we trade up for a tackle and then still take Grier in the 2nd and have no more picks before the 6th round...

I think Taylor will probably be gone but I would imagine the rest have a high likelihood of being available.

Any trade up would almost certainly involve sacrificing said 2nd rounder.

Personally I'm looking at pass rush or OL in the first 2 rounds. Ya'll can worry about QB, but if we have no pass rush come December we're toast regardless of who is behind center. Can't win in this division without pass rush.

Depends on the rest of the picks, TBH. I am not a big believer in Grier and I don't think backup QB warrants a second rounder.
