You clearly don't know the difference between a fact and opinion and your statement just proves it.  You.must have been absent that day in fourth grade when they went over that.

I knew you would get to this point of course because you can't have a conversation making vaild points .. When that doesn't work you go to the questioning somebody intelligence..

I'm telling you that most of these kids in this draft have done more played more and achieved more in Football than Obada has.. FACTS.. They will come in and have more impact based on them already having a 10 to 12 year head start on knowledge of the game over Obada.. Facts

Why do you think Grier will be more impactful than Allen?? Guess what moron?? The Same reason I feel most of the top pass rushers in this draft will be more impactful than Obada...

Next time you question somebody's else intelligence make sure you're smarting than them Clown!!

Moving on..

I'm sorry what point you trying to make??

4 of the QB coming out next year are already better and rated higher than Grier.. Most of them are already rated higher than  Kyler Murray.. So what are you talking about .

If all we want is 1 QB i'd be choosing that 1 QB from a better crop of Qb's .. If I need a pair of pants I rather buy them from Macy's not Walmart... You get it??

You like i grier i think he is a game manager not worth a 2nd round pick.. This won't change so agree to disagree.

Again you clearly don't know the difference between a ranking based on opinion and a fact. Not everyone in that crop will be great. Some of that crop may not be ranked high next year. Guys drop and others rise. You make a foolish assumption that everyone next year will be awesome and everyone this year sucks. That is so naive.  And btw I didn't say that Grier will be all that great either. I don't pretend like you that I am some kind of scout or draft expert. I trust our folks to do their job they get paid to do. Even then they are wrong as much or more than they are right. Which just proves my point that analyses don't matter that much and much of the draft results come from how you develop the players you get more than every player ranked high  is a can't miss prospect which you apparently believe.

How many of these guys have done more in the NFL than Obada. None. That is a fact. Yours is  an irrelevant point given that football in college and high school.has little to do with ultimate success in the NFL. In a year or two you can make a statement and it could be a fact. Until then none of these prospects have done anything in the NFL..

And honestly I have forgotten more than you will ever know. You sound like Trump. Anytime you gotta tell folks you are smart you obviously aren't. I don't have to question your IQ. Anyone who doesn't know the difference between a fact and opinion is showing their limitations.

I'm moving on after this because this is Irrelevant..

If having 2 sacks in 1 nfl game considered better or having a better knowledge of the game than Years of production in college and years of being the best player where ever they play.   Than we should just sign Ryan Delaire back and our pass rushing needs will be solved  right??

Based off your point.. Kyle Allen and Tyler Heneikie has done more in NFL than Will Grier..

You see how stupid your point is.. I'm done..

Red Rocket written all over him..l lol

Serious Questions.. If he wasn't a Charlotte kid would any you really be pumped about the idea??

No. "He set records in high school" does not translate to being good.

The school fielded a varsity football team for the first time in 2011-2012 and won the NC Private Division III State Championship. The football team competed in the larger Division II in the fall of 2012. It received national attention after Davidson Day junior quarterback Will Grier threw for 837 yards and 10 touchdowns 35 of 42 passes in one game on November 9, 2012, in a 104-80 victory over Harrells Christian Academy.

It's hilarious how people post media draft analysts' opinions of a prospect as if it's proof of anything. The only proof is what a guy eventually does in the NFL. There are top 10 busts and mid-late round steals in ever draft.

The negatives being posted also come from similar sources.

What makes the negative media stuff any more credible?

It just seems to be the fanboys who routinely post draft analyst reports on prospects as if it's some sort of proof that they're going to be perennial Pro Bowlers.

I've seen more people doing the exact opposite when it comes to Grier.

Actually production in college is the fallacy analysts use to make predictions which is why they are wrong so often. There are many factors that determine success in the NFL besides production in the past which is why for example there are many Heisman trophy winners who bust in the NFL especially at quarterback. So given your conversation it is no wonder you fall into the same trap. Sure production in the past is good but not a guarantee of success.

As for logic, no one said hire Delaire  or that we shouldn't draft an edge rusher..  But to your point Heinicke and Allen have done more than Grier which is why you have a better chance of knowing what you have. That is good and bad news. You know what they can do and what they can,'t. So you can decide if you need to move on or not. With Grier it is a crapshoot which could be bad or good. So if you don't like Allen or Heinicke take a chance on a QB. Low risk high potential reward. If you are happy with what you got then don't draft a QB. It is pretty simple although the logic obviously evades you.

I know this is going to seem like a little crazy but I have to comment on this.

In regards to the espn video about Will Grier...   I found something on the video that no one else has seen or at least aren't going to
bring it up... but I will.   LOL

Follow this video along up to time 1:52 -

http://www.espn.com/video/clip?id=24760420

I am a chess player and the first thing a chess player does before playing
a game is to see if the pieces are correctly positioned.
ie the bottom right square is white and the Queen is on her color.

In this espn video you will notice at time 1:52 that the board is setup wrong and the Queen is not on her
color.

So why do I even bring this up?

Why does Will Grier give his interview in front of a chess board?  What is he trying to tell us if anything?

Chess has a certain stigma especially to non-chess players (which he obviously is)
that we possess the ability to think 10 moves ahead making us really really smart and capable of good decision making.

So is Will trying to sell us on how smart he is by having a chess board laid out in front of him?

Or is he being a little disingenuous wanting fans or whomever to think his decision making abilities and smarts are more than they are?

What about down the road?    Can we trust him?

I'm hoping if we pick him up in the draft he will be a winner for us... And maybe he can learn how to play a good chess game...  LOL
