Following a two-year stint with Michigan State, Sweat decided to transfer to Mississippi State. Over the past few years, the standout defensive end registered 22.5 sacks. Unfortunately, a preexisting heart condition was discovered during medical tests on Sweat. This condition has resulted in a few teams taking him off their draft board, so they say. Others are now saying Montez Sweat has decided to pull himself out of the NFL Draft in Nashville and spend it with his family. I talked to seven scouts last week about the NFL Draft, and many of them said Montez Sweat will fall and fall hard, but it is not because of his heart condition. It is because of his past at Michigan State. 

These scouts said they feel he will still be drafted in the later first round, but they did not expect him to go in the top 10.

So what happened at Michigan State? That is the question. Sweat wouldn’t discuss the incidents that led to his dismissal at the NFL combine (STRIKE 1), but his former MSU teammate, Craig Evans, who was kicked out of school at the same time, said in an interview last February that, “Me and Tez, we fell short end on the weed situation.” (Hit 2)

Sweat also was accused of stealing a bicycle at MSU, something he has told NFL teams was a misunderstanding. (Hit 3)

Our QB bought a stolen laptop. Almost every college player smokes weed now. Young twenty somethings are dumbasses. Have to take it all with a grain of salt. If weed and a stolen bike are his only knocks then I hope he falls to us.

Also need someone to accuse him of rape. Apparently zero consequences for falsely accusing someone and he’ll probably thank the person years later when he’s winning super bowl mvps for us
