16. Panthers

Jonah Williams, OL, Alabama
Williams, who is coming off an impressive 2018 season, can play right tackle in the NFL and even kick inside to guard, if needed, and possibly even center.

All the top Edge guys were already off the bord in his at 16.

* side note, as many OTs that we've met with.  Williams didnt get brought in for a top 30 visit.

15 (47). Panthers

Juan Thornhill, S, Virginia
Thornhill had a quietly effective 2018 campaign, and he used the combine as an exclamation point on the season. He ran a 4.42 40 and had a 44-inch vertical, and that, coupled with his game film, could see him sneak into Round 1.

13 (77). Panthers

Oshane Ximines, EDGE, Old Dominion
Ximines may be slightly undersized by edge rusher standards but he makes up for size with quickness. He followed up a strong season at Old Dominion with a good showing at the Senior Bowl.

36 (100). Panthers

Tyree Jackson, QB, Buffalo
Jackson is 6-foot-7, can throw the ball a mile and is a fantastic athlete (he ran a 4.59 at the combine). But he lacks experience and while there is a lot to like about his game, he'll need a year or two on the bench at the next level.

115. Panthers - Antoine Wesley, WR, Texas Tech

154. Panthers - Ross Pierschbacher, C, Alabama

187. Panthers - Montre Hartage, CB, Northwestern

Not a fan.. IF you don't get edge players in the 1st you need to double up in the draft.. 1st 2 picks are good .. But i feel the analysts doesn't see the focus on Trench players i think this team has in this draft.. 1 Dlinemen in this draft isn't enough... If you can't attack the problem with quality do it with quantity..

this

But again those top edge rushers lior Sweat and Burns were already off the board at our pick and Winovich off the board already by our 2nd pick.

Would suck, but if we're not trading up this may happen.  Sucks because the dropoff after Winovich is significant.  The dropoff to the tier 2 OTs like Howard, Cadjuste, etc isnt close to the drop between them and the top OTs..

Ferrel is still there

He's drafted at 17

Still not convinced Ferrell is going to be a good fit.

With the way our defense is heading and wanting more versatile guys, he may not fit.

Remember, while we met with Burns and Sweat etc at the Combine.  Sitting down and going over film scheme specific and how he could fit in a standup role dropping back in coverage etc.

Dont think we met with Ferrell until the local day?

I'm not pro or con Ferrell

But I wouldn't hate the pick

I think they have alot of info on Ferrell being a local player who has been good for a few years now.. No need to use extra resources this year on a player you had your eyes on for years now..

Ehh about this Mock. Tyree Jackson would be a great value pick at 100 to learn behind Cam. Another sleeper pickup would be Ross Pierschbacher from Alabama. 3 time All SEC (2 times at LG), finished his campaign at C for the Tide with another All SEC 1st team selection, shows a ton of versatility and value at 154 to switch over to LG or C in the event Larsen can't go.

I'll take Ferrell than Jonah if all the top edge are gone. At least for me Ferrell is a safe pick. People have to go back and watch the film Ferrell 1 on 1 with Jonah and make Jonah looks like a busts.

Most of the stuff I have read on Williams seems to make it seem as if the bulk view him as being an OG.
