What if Jake starts and plays well above normal and has no INT's, three TD's and the Panthers win. FOX would then never bench him. I really think it would be SAFER to just bench him now and not roll the dice again on old Jake.

Another theory... Jake does start and has a great game... this gives him confidence... his arm looks great... Suddenly he can play. He leads the Panthers to the Superbowl!
