My Carolina mock draft

Dillard/Little would be our starting LT
Miller would start at edge
Brown would compete for the outside corner spot
Haynes could start at guard if we don't end up getting another tackle/kick Moton inside

Why would we kick Moton inside? He’s looked like the best tackle on our roster no matter where they’ve put him? I really do not get why people keep dismissing this kid

PS no offense but that draft is doodoo haha

Burns fits where this Defense is going qith his ability to rush on the edge as a OLB, and has shown Great ability to drop back in coverage. If we were sticking with a 4-3 traditional itd be a hard pass.  But the direction Rivera is going ge fots like a glove.  Also has the upside as any edge rusher in this class as far as room to grow

Safties will fall, a strong FA filled a Lot of holes.  A run on QBs and edge rushers combined with atleast 3 WRs going round 1 pushes them down to us.  We grab a Stud Day 1 starter at a very weak position for this team

3 Tytus Howard may mot be around but this OT class is Really deep.  The drop off from Dillard to Howard isnt even in the same universe as the drop off from Burns to Banagu. If Howard isnt around Evans can be a option.

Grier, still dont believe he goes in the 2nd to us.  We will draft a QB, but major holes at starting positions take precedence in the first 2-3 picks

Harris, is not the all 3 down back that some of these others which drops him.  Powerful interior RB which is compliment CMC needs.  He also worked with new Panthers RB coach at Bama.

Jordan brings depth at interior OL and a project with upside

Buggs brings depth at interior DL with experience at 3-4 DE

Much better...that other draft happens and it’s time to get the pitchforks out

I love how in a pass rush heavy draft, you neglect the pass rush. We were near the bottom of the league in getting to the quarterback yet, you have us going for a project LT when we have Williams and Moton. I also love how you assume just drafting Christian Miller is enough to get the pass rush going. All we have are 30+ players who are average at best. Irvin might or might not pan out. We need a DE at 16 like Burns and either Chase Winovich or Oshane Ximenes in the following round. Then watch how our defense flourishes. You’ll thank me when you see how quickly Brees’s pocket collapses

Verge is not telling you what he would do. He is making an assumption on where his source is saying we may go.  He is the one guy that actually has a fuggin source on this forum.  I know you are new.  Thought I would just inform you.

This isn't what I would do...it's what I think will happen lol

You guys are getting stuck on Little because the media has a 2nd-3rd round tag on him, which just isn't realistic for a guy with his build who can play left tackle day 1 in the NFL. I'd be kind of shocked if he made it out of the first round.

He's not my favorite tackle option, but we desperately need a pure LT, and Little is one if the very few in this draft. I would not hate the pick at all.

I respect your opinion but there is no doubt Little is making it out of the 1st round... He is to much of a project and a too high bust risk.. And we're also hung up on your risky choice of only getting 1 pass rusher (and him having a huge injury history) and no safety .. The rest of your draft are backups who won't see the field... Unless of catastrophic injuries.. The only pick you made that was solid is the guard..

I'm always open to bets, granted last time I did that on here it was Bruce Irvin would go in the first, and nobody payed up.

I already have money on Kyler being the first overall pick and Daniel Jones being in the top 20, which both were laughed at when I said it early in the process.  Your choice.

I got 50$ saying we don't take Little in 1st round..

Thanks for sharing @Verge

Not my favorite as I believe we can still find a quality LT outside of the 1st (my two LEAST favorite OT prospects are also Dillard and Little so we couldn't be further apart on the first round). Christian Miller in the 2nd though... I can get down with that. I wouldn't go after an RB until the 5th though, lot of mid-tier guys there are the position imo. Would rather spend our first two picks on immediate starters with Will Grier and Max Scharping being our two that we pick up in the 3rd IF we're going to take a QB this year. Then use the 4th on a potential starter that fell, and then go find depth in the 5th and 6th.

Always fun to see what some of the more informed posters think, even if that means having to ignore that peanut gallery.

This kind of info should be kept to ur self. I wouldn't want to tell anybody those was our picks. I would just tell some good players because that list right there Mel Kiper came up with.
