Panthers favorite to trade up with Jets?

Assuming it would be for an edge rusher, you'd need him to be the next Peppers or Von Miller for it to be worth it. Not a great player, an all-time great player. Even then, it would cause some newproblems. Remember how long it took for the Falcons to bounce back from that massive trade for Julio because of all the holes they weren't able to fill?

Honestly... I would trade next years first for Bosa.  Who knows how much longer we have with Cam?

But I understand why most would be against it.

Bosa no

Josh Allen yes.

3-4 teams seem to not like him that much.  Allen is that versatile guy for the 3-4 D

FWIW DE is wayyyy more important than WR.

Wouldn't do that unless we needed a franchise QB, thats the only way its justified trading away that many picks to go that far up the draft board.

You dont do that for DL. Best player is supposedly Bosa and theres no way in fuging hell he is worth trading away half this draft and a high pick of next year for.

Even if Bosa or Josh Allen or whoever ended up being all world, we would end up dealing with too many holes in the roster for 2, 3 , or 4 years straight because we were missing so many draft picks in 2019 and a high pick in 2020.

Hurney had a really solid draft last year without doing anything stupid and working with lower picks, he should do the same this year. SOMEONE is going to fall to 16, the only way he gets into trouble is if he gets so desperate for a DE and give up the future to get one.

Not really. The money doesn't lie. As of a year ago, the highest paid WR was making $17M and the highest paid WR over a 3 year period was at $55M. Those numbers for EDGE rishers were $17M and $61M. That's not "wayyyy" more. That's slightly more.

If they trade up lose future draft picks and the guy they draft becomes a bust

The huddle will truly end that day

Hurney has done it several times before and the Huddle survided.

Itll be rough but will get through
