Panther's sign Chris Hogan WR

I don't know what this does to the cap, but I ain't hating it. Very good and surprising pick up. Quite a few ways this guy can be used that fits some beds we have. He's not the toughest to bring down and he's not big, but he's fast and can, can get where he needs to be to catch the ball, and brings it in.

Solid.

Moore, Samuel, Hogan, McCaffrey - I'll roll with this poo all day.

And Wright who is a great possession guy on 3rd downs. Would be nice to have a bigger red zone target but I think we’re fine there if Greg stays healthy, Thomas continues to develop and we utilize guys like Armah well at the goal line.

I LOVE this pick.  Been a while since we've had a experienced vet WR that is reliable since Cotchery.  Chris reminds me of Moose.  Wont burn you deep but somehow gets behind coverage and you know hes going to catch it and get that first down.

Pick?

Moose?

What is going on here?

Okay, unless there's an untold injury, Hogan is a major pick-up. Marty Hurney has been working some serious off-the-radar gets for the team this season. I mean really well thought out pieces to the puzzle -- good guys with solid reps and reasonable pay days.

What we get in Hogan is a Ricky Proehl-type slot receiver who can find the weak spots in a zone and make the hard catches, except the guy has more speed. Great route runner, too.

A+ addition.

Chris Hogan on finding a new home: "It took a little longer than originally expected, but I'm super excited about coming to Carolina. This is an opportunity to prove myself again as a player."

That's my question too.

I'd have thought he'd have been signed by now.
