Chris Hogan seemingly understood New England's decision not to re-sign him, making him available for free agency and ultimately to sign with the Panthers, who need experience on a young receiving corps. “It's a business,'' Hogan said. “I can't read too much into it. Doesn’t hurt to sign him as a #4 as long as we didn’t pay big money- which I doubt we did at this point. I certainly like it better than Torrey getting $5 mil or Funchess getting $10.

As I said earlier...Brady was throwing to him. I wouldn’t compare stats.

I’d actually say Wright and Hogan are pretty close players to one another.

They are Quite simular, the thing is Hogan has been on the bigger stage. Way more experience. That's what we need.

But Bailey would seem like the logical fit for what we're trying to accomplish on D.

Right and helps make  drafting a 3-4 def end type player more of a best player available option if it falls to us than a glaring need. I think Hurneys killing it with the cap that we have available to us. Swapping out that 5mil for a vet dlineman would be awesome
