Oliver has less chance than Sweat IMO. He was in the #1 overall discussion before basically skipping the combine. After the pro-day I think he’s solidified his top 10 status. I’m not saying Sweat won’t go before him, but that I think he’s (Oliver) got a higher floor draft position wise. Especially since Detroit and GB signed 3 DE/OLB types.

Yeah, but a boy can dream. I do think Wilkins will be there, who's the same type of player but a little less talented. Who the heck knows what Marty will do, but he'd be a good fit in a 3-4 scheme.

dont think adderley will be there at 47 but adding adderley and dean would be awesome. that motha fugger dean ran a 4.31 faster than donte 4.32. and he weighs 206 compare to donte’s 178!

If he was running track the 4.31 would matter. He’s playing football and his play on the field doesn’t warrant a pick that high

Stay at 16 only one player is assured to be there as a pass rusher... Ferrell. If your good with that stay at 16. If not I don’t see how your not considering a move up. This is the draft to move up. If it means missing out on another 3 and say a 5 for a shot at an elite talent I’m good with that! What did we get out of most of our picks after round 3? Thomas showed potential but he wasn’t a day 1 force like Jackson and 1st rounder.

day 1 starters and impact players are normally had In the first. You have to hit in those rounds no matter what. you can’t just come a way with a so/so guy. Shaq comes to mind, when you could have had say a hunter Henry.

I’d rather have Wilkins or Gary as our 3-4 DE or 4-3 DT/DE and look for 3-4 OLB like Christian Miller with one of the picks it takes you to move up. To guarantee the move up, we’d have to give up pick 47 and maybe a 3rd. There are enough other guys and I think it’s still likely that one of those two guys is there at 16. Last year people said the same about Moore that he’d be gone as well. The Cowboys would take him or some other WR needy team and he fell to us.

I think a 3 and a 5 would get us one of the teir 2 Guys getting to about 12 would assure that. But if you wanted to really nail a guy you loved then I would trade both 3rds... another option if that is to much you give up a 3 this year and a 3 next year. I don’t think you need to move a 2.

The two was based on having to get into the top 10. If you aren’t moving that far up then you don’t need the 2nd, but anything top 10 (since you’ve said you want to guarantee you get someone) does. Our 2nd is worth more than the rest of our picks combined. I don’t even want to give up our 3rd. We have holes upon holes. Our entire DL could need replacing this year and next and we still have a big hole at G and FS and maybe RT.

I don’t think I would surrender a 2 at any cost. But I would burn both 3s to the ground to assure a force for the next 5-7 years. I’m assuming we would land a safety next round with the 2. I feel anything you hit after round 2/3 is a bonus.  3s sometimes don’t even make the team and get cut that same year after training camp(has happened). So why would I package them for a more certain talent.

if ur that set on the talent in the 3rd jump back up into the 3rd.  If there is a can’t miss guy.. but the only guys I would assume are can’t miss are going in the top 15. You make the call.
