A baller huh?? That's why he is a 1st round option right??  You see how you contradict your opinion?? If he is all that he should be a 1st round pick.. But he's not he has deficiency just like every WR in this class.. That's why the value at this position is later in the draft..

My problem with your opinion is basically I want guys competing for starting roles with our 1st 2 picks.. Not depth guys.. Deebo isn't different nor do I think he will be better than what we already have.. So I'd rather draft a player later in the draft to fill that role...

Oh, now ballers only come in the first round...?

That's ludicrous!

We need a young outside receiver because we just lost one. We can't count on Smith to fulfill that need. And why would we want to?

Samuel was drafted for the slot. I'll say it again. Samuel was drafted to play in the slot. With Moore on one side and Funchess gone, there is absolutely a need for another receiver, and not necessarily some big lumbering receiver either.

There is no glaring need for a WR but there is an absolute need for much more needed players like OL first round. A WR can be drafted later in draft once critical needed players are gotten for holes we need to fill first.

Yeah, the first round probably has higher graded players at other positions that should be available, but, after that, all bets are off. BPA in the first second and third. After that, maybe you can get a little cute.

Also, we absolutely need to acquire a WR before the season begins. There's no way that I believe that after losing Funchess that we don't need a receiver.

You could say that about every position.. And reality is the strength of this WR class is in the later rounds.. This is a weak class by most analysts opinions.. The 4th best Olinemen or Dlinemen in a strong draft for both position.. Is probably better than the 2nd best WR in a weak class for that position.... So taking one high when it isn't a astronomical need isn't smart..

If a guy like aj brown or Hollywood is sitting there at 47, it’s going to be hard press passing on them if they are the bpa at the time. Last year was suppose to be a even weaker class, but looking back it had decent talent at WR. I feel the same about cb also, I’m taking the #2 or #3 cb over the # 5 or #6 de, depends on how the board falls

OT: good player wouldn't have a problem with him wearing a Panthers jersey.

Thanks for my daily reminder that I cannot stand Dabo Swinney.

I don't know about that.. Honestly I don't think either will be better than what we already have.. Based on knowing the system already adjusted to the NFL game already producing against top talent.. AJ or Brown probably won't see the field unless injuries happen if we do draft them.. Plus again this is such a weak class of WRs .. They are only ranked high because the class is bad.. And I'd rather not spend a 2nd round pick on insurance...

You act like what we have has proven to be great. That's not the case. They honestly haven't even proven that they'll be able to consistently carry the offense. There's a lot to like about Curtis and D.J., but most of it is based upon of doing a lot of projecting. Moreover, if one or both gets hurt, there goes the season (that's if we don't pick up another legit playmaker).

I'm sorry just my opinion but this is a weak WR draft and no rookie we can get will be better or more impactful than what we are already putting on the field.. You can have your opinion but in mine I wouldn't draft a WR in this draft until the 4th or 5th round.. I don't think alot of these guys will be good right away.. So I wouldn't draft any of them early.. And we can play the if "this guy gets injured" with alot of position on this team.. Example if Cmac gets injured we're in trouble but nobody screaming for a RB in the 2nd round..

Agree to disagree but I don't want to use a high pick for insurance/depth.. When we clearly have stronger needs and the draft while weak at WR is strong in all of our needs...

I’ve just seen this movie way too often, we go into the season content with our WR core, the end up blowing donkey, and cam looks pedestrian. Aj and brown have the ability to beat out smith or even wright, which beating out smith would save us cap if we decide to move on from him. It’s a model the Steelers have embraced and it’s work pretty well for them, now again I’m not saying we SHOULD draft a WR in the 1st couple rounds but I am saying it should not be off the table, I think this class is underrated tbh.

I get that you have a different opinion, but I don't know why you keep o  saying that this is a weak WR draft class. I have read many articles to the contrary.
