NHL admits they messed up game 7 of the Sharks-knights game and two referees from the game won't be on rotation in round 2. 

Dan O'Halloran and Eric Furlatt are the two referees who won't be officiating in round 2. Both were on the ice during the major penalty that turned around that game. 

 

I say they are admitting it by this action because of how many games O'Halloran has officiated in the playoffs. He leads active refs in playoff games, 212 games to be exact.

The NHL has apologized to the knights for the major call in game 7 and called it an incorrect call.

I hope that support in the state is growing.  Been awhile since the Canes did anything to get the casual fan excited.  Hope it continues.

Really proud of this team continuing to grind out there. I didnt think they were going to pull this one out....but it looks like some of the momentum has carried over. Maybe going to 7 and the Idles sweeping the Pens was a good thing.

Watching Sportscenter, 2 things came to light-

Barry Melrose now likes the taste of our D.

We don't need to win another road game. If we took all 3 home games in this series, and Columbus won theirs, we'd have home ice in the Finals.
