So thrilled to see the Canes back in the playoffs for the first time since I was in college. Aho has had an amazing season and so has Svechnikov, who’s really been a hell of a draft pick. As good as advertised. Let’s roll with Mrazek in goal for Game 1, hope we can control their power play and get some pucks in the net.

Not as current on the players as I used to be in the last couple playoff runs, but they have my full, undivided support as the home state team.  Obviously love Brind'amour...  have heard Aho is good.  Didn't know who our goalie was since Cam Ward crashed back down to Earth following our championship...  but, I'm all in.  And I've been following Storm Surge and love it...  this team is fun!  And I love they pissed off Don Cherry's dumbass.

Let's go Canes!

just watched this video. Didn’t even realize they were doing all this fun stuff. 

If this isn’t a spitting image of the ‘15 panthers I don’t know what is.

Yeah this team’s chemistry feels a lot like that Panthers team.

This Canes teams is like the Panthers of old, good defense that can score with a star the makes plays- for the Canes it's our goalies. I really think we need to make a splash in the first game, Aho needs to score, he's been absent for a couple of weeks and Staal needs to put back some rebounds to get some offense going. What has suddenly worked is power play scoring, we'll need to keep that going too.Throw in some blue line offense and we can make Caps work hard at home.  

I think we set a record with 21 road wins this year, so it's not impossible to sneak in an early road win. I don't think RBA has pick a goalie yet, as much as I love watching Mrazek it may be best to rest him for the first game.
