I recorded the FS and NBC postgame shows.  Roenick just said the more you watch a series, you can tell which team is hungrier and is more united...  and he said it became clear that we are that team.

He said the Caps having 6 shots in two OTs shows which team wanted it more and was more together.

And as an inconsistent fan picking it back up, you can sense something special about this team.  They're young and in this series, to me, it was apparent very early that we didn't have the total talent or depth the Caps did.  At times, it often felt like we were playing uphill...  and we scrapped it out.  And it wasnt an accident.  This team is gritty.
