Side note- when they intentionally go after Aho and Neiderieter, we need to bring somebody in to retaliate. That Oshe dude needs a lower body injury.

We technically had more hits but guys like Staal and Ferland didn’t actually follow through on their hits like they should’ve been doing. We let Wilson and Oshie do whatever the fug they wanted. That needs to change today.

All things considered, we look much better today. Taking away space well aside from Faulk's screw up. 

Now to find our offense

Caps gonna sweep us. Defense is fuging terrible. Too many people looking at the puck and not playing their guys. Offseason needs to be defense focused and trading away Faulk.

Problem with that is, we already have too many defensemen. I think it needs to be offensive oriented, honestly. Especially with Aho pulling his best version of Casper.

Huh? We’re playing like absolute poo 5 on 5 today, while we were definitely the better 5 on 5 team on Thursday.

To make matters worse, we made it feel like that too. I was at that game, and it felt like a Stanley Cup celebration. People were STILL tailgating after the game.
