Vick threw 20 TDs and ran for 1,000 yards his last full season as a starter. Jake Delhomme might not throw 10 TDs this season. LMAO. The Panthers have one of the worst QB histories in the league!!! Which makes it that much more blatant that they dont look at or want a black QB.

I don't think black QBs have a thing to do with it. Jake Delhomme replaced Rodney Peete as the starter and Jake wasn't as bad then as he is now. We just need a better QB (whatever color), period.

There are good quarterbacks out there, regardless of race. I wouldn't mind getting Jason Campbell. He looks like he has some potential.

Michael Vick sucks as a quarterback and as a person. My brother who lives in Atlanta has talked to a ton of people who much prefer Matt Ryan over Mike Vick, proving that football people both black and white would prefer a real quarterback over Michael Vick the great pretender.

I don't know why we would want him in Charlotte. Jake is no worse than Vick who can't find playing time in Philadelphia but at least is a high character player. Even when he was getting booed the last 2 games, I never saw him flip off the fans like Vick did. I would take Moore or Feeley over Vick any day.

There are plenty of good football reasons not to want Vick, without worrying about the ethical side of things.

He's on a better team than the Panthers right now and accomplishing nothing. For him to play for the Panthers, we'd have to redesign everything and still defenses could load up against the run and not worry about the pass.

Vick is not the answer. In pure football terms, it`s roughly the equivalent to saying "JaMarcus Russell sucks. If only we had Kyle Boller instead" :nonod:

Cause Jake Delhomme has caused me to punt my dog out of frustration. Vick out of the league 2 seasons is still better than Delhomme. He would have turned our running game into a sensational fire of him, williams and stewart. His accuracy was never the best but he still would have gotten the job done.

I'd rather the Panthers go 0-16.
