A-Jax needs to clean up his tackling

I just did a film breakdown of Donte Jackson's game. I don't think that stat is an accurate reflection of his season. He showed a willingness and ability to get his nose dirty and make tackles. He had a few misses, but I think it's easily fixable. The Panthers defense requires corners to do a lot more tackling because of the high percentage of zone defense, so I wouldn't be surprised if he ranked high in attempts too. He was 5th on the team in tackles and 9th in the league in solo tackles among CBs.

He did MUCH better than I thought he was capable of.

He was 175 LBs and fearless. Room for improvement sure, but he did great given rookie status and weight.

His run support was/is good for a rookie who is small like he is.

Thanks man. I think he takes a giant leap forward this year. Looking forward to it.
