Brandon Greene was the top rated tackle in the aaf per PFF iirc ...

So we've already signed two lineman and we're expected to sign the top rated tackle and the leading touchdown receiver (#2 WR Overall).

Matsko work your magic..

One thing is for certain, if we can avoid injuries, by the start of the season our O-line has the potential to be something special.

Also, Idunno why but ......something is telling me we're going to make a splash in one way or another...I just hope we don't give up future 1st's in the process.... It's all on the line now.

That's alot of Oline signing this offseason.. They are really using FA resources on Oline bodies and competition..

It makes me question how much of the draft will be used on Olinemen...

Signing a lot of competition and back up options also allows you to choose the best players available instead of having to over reach for a lower tier player.

i would expect the same types of signings for defensive line, safety and others coming up.

All Pro days are over now, yesterday was the last one. Expect Hurney to bring in a few depth guys that will set us up for the draft.

Kyle Love, Jermon Bushrod, Allen Bailey are still in play

Great, camp bodies who have some 8 more games of experience than they used to have.

The value of a developmental league is that it gives QBs and OL some actual game experience against an aggressive D.  Those are two of the more difficult positions to develop.

I'm all for it.  I just hate it fell apart.  Hopefully these guys can push some other players to be better.

NFLPA shitted on that. They didn't want the AAF to have access to young players out of college or something to that nature.

Per CBS Sports

On Tuesday, multiple reports surfaced that the AAF, an upstart expansion league that kicked off in February, would be coming to an end.Pro Football Talk reportedthat the league would be suspending football operations on Tuesday.Darren Rovell also reportedthat Carolina Hurricanes owner Tom Dundon, who invested $250 million in the AAF, would be losing $70 million of his investment. The AAF team officials have a conference call scheduled with the league offices at 1:00 p.m. EST, which will likely result in the ceasing of operations.

The AAF will come to an unfortunate end a mere two weeks away from the first-ever playoffs in league history.

"If the players union is not going to give us young players, we can't be a development league," Dundon said last week in response to rumors that the league was folding. "We are looking at our options, one of which is discontinuing the league."

I can’t find where we have signed Brandon Greene.

I believe that refers to practice squad players and the sort.  The AAF had asked the NFL teams to consider sending rookies, practice squad, bubble depth position players (not your second string.  but like your 3rd..4th, etc) to the AAF teams, citing experience, reps, etc as a benefit.  The NFL said "no", citing things like "potential injuries".

Give it a moment to embed the tweet. Click the Preview button to see it before posting.

NOTE: Be sure you have the original of the tweet you want. Sometimes you have to drill down to get the original tweet’s time stamp. And replies don’t always embed with the tweet they’re replying to. Which is why I strongly suggest previewing before posting.
