For example

Jonah Williams arms were at 33 5/8

Joe Thomas's were 33 3/4

Jordan Gross 33 1/4

Jake Matthew's 33 3/8

Taylor Lewan 33 7/8

Joe Staley 33 1/2

That's what you get when you based your whole opinion on draft books.. You can use them but you also need to do your own research before forming a opinion and acting like a MB draft guru.. You're basically fake and your opinion is a jumble of other ppl trying to sell hot takes. ..

Well, every single one of us only has limited access, so we must rely on others, including professionals who are closer to the situation to form a more complete picture. 

As for Williams, the guy has been lauded as a technician at his craft and regarded by many as the best OT in this draft.

What did it take NCfan 3 seconds?? To default the whole Williams short arms deficiency  narrative.. By showing his arm length being similar to recent HOF and pro bowl LT..

You could make a case for either and I'd be happy with either. If i had to choose I'd probably go Jonah bc he seems like he can start immediately at left guard and eventually move to tackle and is a fair comparison to Jordan Gross.

First off I didn’t disagree with any of this. My opinion is my own, I didn’t bash Williams at all. And yes I trust draft book opinions over Internet forum guy Sub-zero. Also your dealing with something that is can Ben proven. Length is something we can all see. You can’t see talent

More than a few are dinging Williams due to his arm length, and as such I think that it's a valid topic of discussion. Making comparisons to other pros to dispel or support opinions is done all the time. I don't get the issue, but on these forums there are a lot of pots calling kettles black. I just felt it odd that you'd take issue with what he said is all. Carry on!

I think people are crazy and just make up things about draft picks as a phantom way of covering up their hate of a pick.

Jonah— combine 33 5/8 at 6’4

Jawaan Taylor 35 1/8 at 6’5

Andre Dillard 33 1/2 at 6’5

where are Jonah’s arms short? 

I mean aren’t Andre Dillard’s arms shorter and he is an inch taller,.. Taylor by comparison has an inch bigger than Jonah and is an inch taller.

if you don’t like a pick,.. you don’t like a pick.

these hacks that write up articles are just that,.. hacks. There’s also teams that leak stuff like that so a guy will drop, they draft him.

Just like more than a few had Clausen as the most pro ready QB in 2010..  All I'm saying is bold generalizations and making predictions into certainties is where ppl go wrong.. And alot of ppl who use draft books like bible make that mistake all the time..

Now you don’t know who you were talking about because I used a draft book and insider info on your man crush and you think this validates his lack of athleticism. Again.. arm length is something that’s measured. Williams was thought to have short arms before the measurement. Just like Kyler was thought to be shorter before the measurement.

Since then the combine has calmed a lot of those claims down. Opinions can change after validation. Speed something everyone sees on plays doesn’t.
