I'm guessing it was an in-house issue.  Can't find anything about an arrest.

I may be in the minority but I always got a creepy vibe from the guy. He just seems like an oddball.

He's 100% genuine. He was in all my radio/tv classes at App. He's a really good guy. Just a huge sports geek and especially a Panthers/Hornets geek.

This is either one of two things:

He did something bad, or

They gave him a 1 year very cheap contract last offseason, which he gladly expected because its his dream job, and when they started negotiating a new contract this week they so far lowballed the offer that he was insulted and they chose to part ways. Which I can believe becuase the Hornets are notoriously cheap in NBA circles

I also can vouch that he is a really great guy. I never had any issue with him whatsoever. Always looked forward to seeing him at Panthers practice.
