We got any FGC folks here on the Huddle? I remember awhile back before the shuffling that there were 2 or 3 other posters that also competed.

 

Currently playing T7 and SC6. Just picked up UNIST + DOA6  and am likely going to be preordering MK11. I haven't gotten the chance to go through the DBFZ patch notes yet, but I saw that man Piccolo wall bouncing with flash step elbows sooo... O_O

I love them. Not good at some but I play MK, injustice series, Dragon Ball Fighterz and killer instinct. I’m always down to play.

New MK is fun. I'm playing Geras tho so I just toss pocket sand at the floor all day.

 

Anybody trying to hit up TFC in Raleigh come Sept/Oct?

MK is awesome! I’ve been playing as Noob/Sub, can’t get enough of the sub zeroes. Noobs one of the best punishers ive ever played as, he’s ruthless. And subs mix ups are nasty. I can’t string together long combos like noob, but I can get some good ones for solid damage.

Sub and Noob both seem pretty solid this go around. I'm about to pick up Kotal Kahn, Kung Lao, and Scorpion as well. Scorp does derp dmg for no reason

Kotal feel like he would be boss tier, but I just can’t figure out his style. I do like Kung Lao bc it’s difficult to anticipate his moves, especially his teleport.

From what I'm hearing, Kotal's part of the "weaker" group of characters though they're not so much weak as they have flaws. I have no idea what his issues are though. My best guess would be that his attacks are slow despite having great range and he is likely very punishable on block.

Kung Lao looks soooo dope. He had been my main up until MK11.
