The mock draft link how we need the draft to fall if we have any hope of landing a stude EDGE guy. 4qbs and buffalo goes for Wilkins. We don’t need all of this bc in this draft both Sweat and Burns are on the board.  I would be happy with either one of those.

Absolutely. That almost always ends badly. History has not been kind to teams that do that. 

Id be more jacked up about us dropping back and picking up another 2nd and 4th or something. 

Id almost wish someone would mortgage their future to get our 16th pick— they jump up from 28th or something, we get 2nd, 4th, and their next year first.

All this interest from us, tells me we are serious about running the 3-4 scheme from the jump. Burns is the perfect 3-4 OLB who can rush the passer. I don't know about his ability to drop into coverage, but judging from the video earlier his mobility looks good. He could be the perfect fit for the system we are trying to run.

I like that he is long and agile those type of players have ton of potential if they go to the right team with great coaches. If Burns can put on some more weight he could be a special player in this league.
