With all the QB's moving up, even to #1, no, may not need the #1 pick to get the best 1-2 DE's in this draft.

The better question is " do you think they should get into a position to draft a top DE in the draft?"

Heck yeah, you've built up enough capital from the last draft that getting that guy your franchise needs, the next JP or Aaron Donald can be your first purpose. Dline needs a major upgrade.

 

 

So lets give up 2 complete drafts for the 2 best edge players. This makes complete sense. Hell yeah! Let's do it.

I like how New Orleans would always seem to jump up in the draft to get a guy ahead of us Cooks was one example.

They are not scared of failure. They go for it. I hate their uniforms but I respect their spunk.

Trading up from #16 to the top 3 (where you're going to have to go to get the #1 DE prospect) is absolutely 100% mortgaging the future on one player. A player who has never played a down of NFL football.

I’m going on the record.  I don’t think he makes it to us.  We need 4 QBs going before us or one wild card player.  I think he goes a couple picks before us.

That's what I've been saying. If you want Burns or ANY of the passrushers you can't just wait.

Fortune favors the bold, not the fearful and timid. If there ever was a time to trade up, this would be it, if you need a surefire DE.
