Haven't we learned our lesson with Florida State prospects and in particular the FL. St. DE position that historically has not translated to the NFL? Why is this guy different?

I just looked at the list of DE's that came out FSU .... smdh

If he is the pick hopefully it's the start of a new trend

If you honestly can't separate someone from past players from that school, you should really sit out the whole pre-draft process.

Burns would be a stellar addition to this defense. He had 10 sacks this year on a bad team. Watch some film and read some stats before you go comparing this guy to little Everette Brown.

Don't let the benefit of hindsight change your opinion of Brown as a prospect. He had 13.5 sacks his final season at FSU and was considered a 1st rounder by a lot of the talking heads.

Burns is probably the 2nd best DE in the draft the second coming of von Miller dudes agility and movement are elite if he is there and GB don’t pick him you run to the podium if he is gone you flip a coin should have top pick of wr, TE and safety

He is gonna be really good, double digit sack good and we need that.  We will be pretty lucky to get him if that happens.

After a bazillion mock drafts here are the guys that make it to us.  Gary, Oliver, Burns, Ferrell and Wilkins on the defensive side of the ball.  And since Ferrell doesn’t really fit a Hybrid/3-4 I think Burns is our only hope of a pass rusher in rd 1.  As always the draft could go a completely different direction.
