I just finished the book earlier this week and had no idea until recently they were making a movie on it. The book for what is,  was very entertaining and guilty pleasure. Actually very well written. Was never a huge Crue fan and even less of one after reading the book. 

I plan on checking the movie out this week but honestly it looks a bit meh.

Just saw it this weekend.  While I was never inspired enough to buy any of their music back in the day, the movie was entertaining enough to keep my attention.   For anyone that grew up in the 1980s listening to metal, this movie provides a blast from the past.

I'll give it a 3.5 stars out of 5.

I enjoyed it.  MGK is a cornball, but he did a good enough job at Tommy Lee.

Watching the movie with no expectations is the way to go. I enjoyed it

Great movie, loved early Crue coming up and things were probably crazier than even this but cool flick
