We have no secondary to speak of. Gamble got paid and has reverted. Lucas.. I don't know what the hell happened to Lucas this year. Marshall isn't doing well. Godfrey looks more and more like a strong safety and is a liability to this point. One game left and he's still out there flopping around. Maybe next year.

Fox is a good coach and I'm not trying to diminish what he's done, but he coaches scared the minute we're 1 point ahead. Three straight run plays at the end of the fourth, not even trying to get the ball to Smith in the second half, punting on 4th and three in OT when our D was clearly gassed and couldn't stop my out of shape ass from popping 7 yards a go. Did DeAngelo even touch the ball in OT?

Personally, I think NO will beat us by 10-14 and we back into the playoffs with ATL taking the division. I don't trust this team to come out fired up and I think the Saints will.

If Kemo and Lewis aren't healthy, I'm not happy at all.

I agree, that is why we must win this week to get that bye and get healthy. Also, keep in mind that the 300 yards included at least another 90 in overtime, where I guys were exhausted from missing our 2 DT's. We are better than that, I think any person watching the game would be impressed with our team. Its a better time to get a loss out the way now than in two, three, four or six weeks from now.

We might have another rematch in Arizona. And according to everyone, you don't lose the second game...

just saying.

I'd be so happy to play Arizona after watching them yesterday. Leinert looked like he was going to crap his pants when he was put in the game. I was joking that Wisenhunt was running up and down the sidelines asking players, "Can you play quarterback? Ever thrown the ball? Good enough- You're in!!"

That game was U-G-L-Y

That we could play that bad and in reality almost (should have FG) beat the "best team in the NFL".....

What a perfect time to get a gut check while still playing good enough to win. Hold your heads up folks.

See you in February at the Super Bowl!

HEY!!! Who the hell are you? What did you do to the real AK? Bring him back to us!!! :cuss:

Personally, I was pretty proud of the Panthers yesterday. They just need to take care of business against the Saints and secure that 1st round bye so they can get everybody relatively healthy again.

I feel pretty darn good about their chances if they can get another shot at the Giants.
