We showed up for our third straight Prime time game, went toe to toe with one of the best teams in the NFL, which just happens to be the defending Champs and lost in overtime. We did so without our run stuffing DT (which proved to be HUGE) and with a reserve RG.

We had no turn overs, gave up ZERO sacks, saw only 1 penalty, ran for 150+, scored 28 in a very hostile environment and are guaranteed a play off position.

For me, the win would have been the icing on the cake. But we know now we can play with and beat anyone. We need to get Kemo back and beat the Saints, if we do that I'll feel very good about the next month or so.

We also got to Eli Manning when he had to throw the ball. Yea he killed us with short passes but man Brayton has came on. He made a Pro bowl T look silly at times and thats hard to say. I just dont understand our offense some times is my problem we had them and let them off the hook. When you are two scores ahead you can risk a pick for the sake of putting the game away and we didnt do that. They knew we were gonna run and that stoped it with 8 and 9 guys. Moose was all alone and they didnt even try to get it to him.

I'm not a silver lining kind of guy. To me, it was a terrible performance, regardless of how close the game was. Giving up 300 yards rushing, even without your best run stopper, is pathetic. Kemo or not, we were getting killed on the outside, as we continued to be fooled by the shotgun run plays. In addition, our secondary continued to be terrible, allowing the Giants to secure a first down pretty much anytime they wanted, by playing Trgovac Style cushions. Every key reception in the game seemed to be to a wide open player. That's a problem.

I'm not going to panic, but I'm certainly not going to celebrate a loss in which the defense played so incredibly bad. I do think that when the playoffs come, our defensive inabilities are going to keep us from making a deep run into the playoffs. Scoring 30 points a game is awesome, but if our offense has a bad game, we're in trouble.

very reasonable. the loss shouldn't be celebrated. the fact that it didn't kill our season should be, imo. i'm just glad that the team got their problems exposed when they did.

our team is supposed to run the ball and stop the run. they got the first part of that equation right. the second one, not so much. they had it together at the beginning of the season but for some reason lost it.

i feel good about them fixing the problems, though. in previous years i couldn't say that.

Dude we out played them the whole game. We are one of the top teams in the NFL. They will not beat us again, end of story. They are thankin their lucky stars they beat us. Don't think they want to see us again. They know dang well they got away with one. We are in a better place right now and garrentee we go deep into the playoffs.

All I know is.....we can't stop a pass for poo, didn't stop the run at all last night even game planning for it, and we are going to the most pass happy place in the NFL next week.....New Orleans.

The best way to beat NO is to keep the ball out of Brees hands. Run the ball, control the clock.

I think we will do just fine next sunday. Its just going to be a long week.

Keep it out of his hands is one thing, and we may be able to do that..........if we can run the ball, cause we sure as sh*t don't have the D, to knock it out of his hands, or shut him, or any other QB down. We have the pressure of a minute old puppy sucking it's mama's ***.

Trust me man, I am not on the Turgo bandwagon.

I just dont want to write us off just yet. This team plays with a lot of pride. I said at the begining of the season our D would be are soft spot.

All we have to do is score more than the other team ;)

Yes....we will be just fine, but you people with your bend but don't break, we are still in it attitude really irks the poo out of me.

We screw this poo up year after year, after year, when the ball is in our court, and we have the opportunity to have the upper hand, and everybody constantly makes excuses for it, and accepts it.

We have no killer instinct, period.

See I'm kinda of right the opposite. Its the "killer insitinct" that killed us last night.

We overpursued WAY TOO MUCH. The Giants gave us their best shot. We will have our re-match.

I feel confident in that.
