I like how ppl keep saying this but if they draft a QB, RB, or MLB ppl would freak the fug out here especially... This ideology should come with a caveat like BPA according to list of needs..

Need LT just as much as DE or more...if we cant protect Cam it wont matter who we get at DE...

I'm beginning to think we take Burns if he is there and Sweat and Gary are gone. It fits with the new flex look. In the second round select the DE from Texas and we are well on our way to fixing the DL and LB situation. Use the 3rd round selections for CB, S, or OL.

In fairness, I don't think you will see someone at those positions what would be on our Best Players list at 16. Not unless something crazy happens with a QB falling. RB definitely not but I wouldn't be upset at seeing us draft either of the Devin's at LB. Not one bit.

Hmmmm I don't know .. If Haskens fall he could be considered BPA right??

This whole discussion is a need discussion which is why we ended up with so many busts in the past. You can't decide to go OL or DE in this draft. You have to pick BPA at a position of need. That way you get the best talent. We didn't need Kuechly when we drafted him but he was the BPA when he was picked. Then Beason goes down and suddenly he is a need. So we can use whoever we get but if we double down we could win with a Star & KK draft or end up with our 2016 draft which was a bust because we reached with 3 corners only one is still here.

Needs meaning you have a few so if you can't get your 1st need you go down the line of needs before you go to luxury picks.. Beason and TD were injury risk when we picked Luke.. Plus the added cavet is the Guy in a once in a blank talent like Luke was... I don't want a WR in the 1st round but if he is megatron or Moss than you got to take him..

I guess. That really depends on how they value those guys. I really don't value any of these QB's very highly.

Need meaning you set your mind on one or two positions and pick the best available only at those spots and avoid better players because they aren't at a position of great perceived need like linebacker for instance. Are their luxury picks this year. Even quarterback or running back could be a position of need if we sustain injuries like last year.

Most teams picking in the top 20 have more than 2 needs.. So no I'm talking more than 2 positions.   What QB at 16 helps you this year if Cam gets hurt Really?? None.. So is it even worth it unless you're moving on from Cam.. And there is no RB replacing all the things Cmac does on this offense.. And there are alot of Cheap vet options on the street so yes a RB at 16 would be considered a luxury pick.. Like I said I like BPA thing in reason.. Butler and Shaq prove that..
