Actually, you're referring to the mean life expectancy of the era, which then was skewed by the high death rate of newborns and young children.  It wasn't because they weren't vegan.

You bring up a good point, but even in searching for data excluding infant/child mortality, I found a study that still points to a diet higher in fruits, vegetables and bread as contributing to a longer life span.

Anyone that tells you there is no need for a primate to eat vegetation is practicing self delusion. It is literally what we evolved to do in every aspect of our anatomy. This is just scientific fact a third grader could understand.

If we had the gut/anatomy of a gorilla I may agree, but we don’t. That’s why it’s not a “fact” as you like to believe.

Here’s a recent interview between Bart Kay, who is a nutrition, physiology, cardiovascular expert interviewing one of the more recent and more popular vegan defectors. Notice the number of vegans who have been forced to abandon the cult for the sake of their health- it’s remarkable. Bobby Risto (Bobby’s Perspective) dives into the harms of plant based living.

When all you've got for support is youtube quackery, made by guys who post memes like that, very few people are going to take you seriously. Go have a steak and quit worrying so much about vegans.

I have plenty of support, thousands and thousands of people coming forth with their stories of healing. It also coincides perfectly with the science, especially if you look at mechanism rather than weak correlation. Not sure what makes either of these guys quacks though, but it’s not lost on my that you make a half baked attack completely devoid of substance.

You've got anecdotal evidence from a diet you've kept for a single year. If these guys had ideas worth emulating, they wouldn't be self-publishing on youtube.

The first guy quoted the old testament as justification that fatty meats are better than vegetables. He also regurgitated the myth of the cannibal Aborigine.

That’s SOME of the evidence I have, certainly not all of it. Again, you can’t argue any of the points they make, so the lack of substance remains. I am not a scientist however, so the anecdotal evidence means much more than rodent studies and massive research papers bought and paid for by Coca Cola, Nestle, Monsanto, etc.

There is plenty of evidence for the safety, efficacy and sustainability of a meat based diet.
