And died at 35 years old.

Also, that second point is a theory, far from proven. Most paleontologist believe the larger brain came from people doing more advanced things like developing social societies.

Oh you mean some of this is actually open for discussion? Except the things you think anyway. That’s just 100% truth and common sense. My bad (although scientific evidence does show meat probably was the contributing factor here...)

Or the Sioux which was a 100% carnivore tribe. Or tribes in Eastern Africa. Many other native tribes were strictly meat eaters.

And in fact, the growth of the human brain was directly the result of eating meat. Literally...

* * Cooked meat **  If not for that, humans may have died out.

They ate meat, and died early from cardiovascular disease. No one is saying otherwise.

Now go study the populations of the longest lived people on Earth and take note of what they all eat. It's pretty interesting.

All populations around the world are living longer but longevity is multifactorial and we can not just associate it with diet alone. Yes the Sardinians, Okinawans and other blue zones eat more vegetables but they are NOT VEGAN. Heck new data also shows the people from Hong Kong live the longest but they eat a ton of pork as well.

We no longer die from infectious diseases like we use to. We have better hygiene protocols. Death through birth are down. We don’t smoke like we use to. We have numerous medical procedures and drugs that are keeping old folks living longer than ever before. It’s not just diet.

I’m dead serious. Please somebody close to Cam reconsider veganism long term. All you need to do is look on YouTube of ex vegans. It is not pretty. It’s a great reset diet. Historically it was used as a fast. But no civilization or tribe has ever been fully vegan. I’ve known two people who hurt themselves doing strict vegetarianism causing autoimmune and gut problems. I’m dead serious about this. Please somebody warn him or our franchise qb’s health will be in danger long term.

Jainists have been around since the 6th Century BC and there are between four and five million adherents to this religion which requires vegetarianism, and many of the devout are extremely vegan, even avoiding root vegetables because of the harm it can cause lower organisms during the harvest.  Just sayin'.

Cam will be fine. HoF TE and all around good guy Tony Gonzalez was a vegetarian throughout his playing days and continues an 80/20 diet now.

Tony was similar to Cam only eating fish, tried 100% vegan and lost mass. Went back to eating fish.

Wonder what turned him off of fish. Dude was a pretty high profile pescatarian.

Fish like any meat comes with lots of other fun stuff besides protein. Bacteria, antibodies, blood cells, hormones, etc. All of which cause an inflammation response in our bodies. If Cam is looking to have as little inflammation as possible, eating only plants will do it.

85% of vegans go back to meat. The growing number of former vegans who had to abandon their diet because they were getting sick is alarming, but maybe they just weren’t doing it right, right?

I mean why eat meat with it’s complete protein profile, vastly superior bioavailability and lack of lectins, oxalates, etc.? I have no interest in eating a diet that is nutritionally deficient and relies heavily on inflammatory, processed garbage. I’ll stick to my locally raised, grass fed beef and farm fresh eggs for 90% of my dietary intake. I have 2 pounds of ribeye waiting for me this very moment!
