Isaiah Crowell - Backup RB?

Released after the Jets signed Bell. Had a pretty decent season racking up 685 yards on 143 carries and 6 TDs. Not much of a pass catcher but could be a solid change of pace back to spell McCaffrey.

I think I'd prefer a rookie - Cap, and we'd have them for four years are my main reasons.

We basically already had that guy in CJ Anderson last year. I think we're going to to try to find CMC-lite as our #2 RB. I'd be fine with carrying Hood as our #3 and powerback. I just wish we'd get more strategic with our RBs if we're only goinv to carry two on the active roster. If we're playing a team with a weak tun D that we can wear down on the ground, activate the powerback. If we're playing a strong run D, activate CMC-lite and make those LBs cover.

I’d like him, but the CJ situation last year has me thinking it would be a waste of his time and ours coming here.

Not with how we did CJ and knowing that CMC is getting 99% of carries. Our best bet is to find a good young running back in the mid to late rounds
